Define, own and maintain the global network and network security architecture, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, data center, cloud, and SD WAN.
Develop reference architectures, design standards, and technology roadmaps aligned with business growth, manufacturing needs, and security requirements.
Lead architectural decisions for network segmentation, security zoning, high availability, and resilience.
Design scalable and secure network solutions using Fortinet and Cisco technologies, ensuring consistency across regions.
Act as the design authority for network changes and projects, reviewing and approving high impact designs.
Define and enforce standards for redundancy, failover, clustering, and disaster recovery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Network Engineer and NOC teams.
Work closely with security teams, application owners, local IT, vendors, and global stakeholders to deliver network initiatives and transformations.
Supporting major programs, migrations, and complex incident root cause analysis from an architectural perspective.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field
Fortinet NSE 5, NSE 7, or higher certifications
Cisco CCNP or higher certifications
Experience with network automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code concepts
Exposure to large-scale transformations (network refresh, SD-WAN rollouts, segmentation programs)
Experience working closely with security architecture or zero-trust initiatives
Fortinet and Cisco tools knowledge
F5 experience with other network security platforms or tools
IT Architecture (TOGAF)
IT Service Management (ITIL and COBIT)
Project Management is a plus
Experience with utilizing ServiceNow in an enterprise environment is a plus
