Evaluating customer applications to determine the optimum product, services, retrofits, upgrades, or new controllers, software, and equipment.
Preparation of proposals and quotations for customers and assists Account Managers in selling.
Conducts electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tests and installs robotic systems, shape cutting systems, welding systems, subassemblies, and parts.
Makes sales calls with Account Managers, Sales Managers, and Segment Managers to sell Preventive Maintenance, retrofits, new equipment, controllers, drive packages, and software.
Teaches and instructs operators on the proper use of equipment operation, sequencing, and optimization of process.
Requirements
Computer literacy for preparation of sales and service proposals and report writing.
One year certificate from college or technical school.
Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supplier factory training on equipment, processes, software, controllers, drives preferred.
