About this role
Role Overview
- Perform fair value measurement of biological assets;
- Perform monthly reconciliations and accounting analyses;
- Execute routines related to the monthly accounting close;
- Critically analyze movements in balance sheet and income statement accounts;
- Prepare notes to the financial statements (explanatory notes);
- Provide guidance to colleagues;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Understand accounting/inventory/costing system configurations (SAP) and post journal entries;
- Prepare and maintain operational manuals up to date.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field;
- Proven, solid experience in accounting and in preparing notes to the financial statements;
- Experience with SAP is a plus;
- Experience with Biological Assets (CPC 29) is desirable;
- Experience supporting external audits is desirable;
- Experience in publicly listed companies is desirable;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Outlook) and Power BI.
