About this role
Role Overview
Oversees core administration and daily operations for all educational training programs within SOM
Leads the implementation of key business and strategic initiatives
Directs the planning, development and monitoring of all program-related budgets
Oversees revenue/expense reporting, forecasting and reconciliation procedure
Develops both short and long-term programmatic goals and objectives
Collaborates with SOM space/facility management staff to meet space needs of educational programs
Works closely with IT to develop plans/projects and policies for educational programs
Assists in the preparation and review of external UME, GME, and health professions contracts
Develops and reviews policies related to medical education across programs.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field
Ten years of related experience, including direct supervisory or managerial experience
A master's degree is preferred
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Complex project management experience
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative) essential
Higher education, healthcare, or not-for-profit experience is preferred
Proficiency with MS Office applications.
