Role Overview
- Join the Engineering Center department and take responsibility for the Optics & Laser Systems team
- Define the team's organization and manage the budget
- Ensure alignment between objectives and resources and manage processes
- Assess skills and build tailored development plans
- Lead recruiting and support the team's growth
- Contribute as a senior optics/laser engineer on subprojects
- Own the team's technical roadmap and contribute to intellectual property
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience managing an engineering team
- Experience working on complex systems
- Proficient in project management approaches such as the V-model (or equivalent)
- Experience in industrial environments (e.g., aerospace, medical, defense, telecommunications, robotics, automotive, industrial IT, etc.)
