Health Service Director – Training

Role Overview

• Enhance skills as Health Services Director in Training (HSDiT)
• Manage a team as a Health Services Director
• Gain on-the-job experience under a current Health Services Director
• Complete department training and transition to a community role

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Minimum of six months in current position at Oakmont
• Prefer two (2) years experience as a Licensed Nurse
• One (1) years experience in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
• California LVN or RN License in good standing
• Willing to travel throughout the state during training process
• Open to relocation for permanent position
• Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with passion for serving older adults
• Able to work with seniors and interact patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
• Proficient in basic computer systems
• Ability to learn electronic health records and other Company tools
• Able to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively
• Adaptable to change, able to prioritize tasks
• Coachable, highly motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively
• Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR
• Must pass Criminal Background Check and Health Screening tests
