Health Service Director – Training

Role Overview

• Advancement opportunity for Oakmont team members excelling in their Health Services role
• Members trained by department heads at the community level
• Gain understanding of managing a team as a Health Services Director
• Complete department training and work under a current Health Services Director
• Provides customized leadership training to motivated individuals

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Minimum of six months in current position at Oakmont
• Prefer two (2) years experience as a Licensed Nurse
• One (1) years experience working in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
• California LVN or RN License in good standing
• Must be willing to travel throughout the state during training
• Must be open to relocation for a permanent position
• Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership
• Prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Passion for serving older adults
• Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals
• Proficient in basic computer systems
• Ability to learn electronic health records and other Company tools
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Able to adapt and respond to change
• Must be coachable and highly motivated
• Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR
