The Regional Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving and overachieving sales targets across all routes to market within the region.
Leading a cross functional regional sales team, both direct and dotted line, you will own your own profit and loss (P&L) and sales key performance indicators (KPIs) for the region.
By strategically approaching various industries, you will drive profitable and sustainable growth for SUSE in your designated region, expanding our customer base while nurturing relationships with existing (renew, cross sell, upsell) and potential clients.
SUSE works closely together with partners in the diverse Routes to market to deliver customer solutions, the country manager will lead his team to build and grow the partner Ecosystem.
Your focus will be People, Process, Pipeline.
Your primary responsibilities include coaching and guiding Account Executives and your extended cross-functional sales team to ensure exceptional sales execution (forecast and pipeline health), professionalism, and customer value across SUSE's entire portfolio.
You will also oversee the management and development of the team, fostering their performance and growth.
This position reports to the GM of APAC, and your collaborative leadership will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing the overall sales processes.
Requirements
Extensive successful experience leading a successful sales team selling Enterprise Software (Open source SW/SaaS/Cloud etc)
Strong sales leadership experience both working in direct sales and indirect (partner) structures
Proven ability to understand and drive sales process from plan to close, able to add value and “make” deals
Ability to manage and work with teams in different countries
Experience in all routes to market & Open Source is a pre.
Preferable would-be candidate that can demonstrate Opensource knowledge and expertise
Proven ability to represent your team and SUSE both within and outside the company
