Role Overview
- Handling Financial Institutions Claims, including Employment Practices, Fiduciary Liability, and Director & Officers
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving coverage issues
- Providing communication of policy coverage issues to insureds, brokers, underwriters, and risk managers
- Coordinating with defense counsel and insureds for coverage and damage analysis
- Managing reserve adjustments and payments
Requirements
- Claims handling and/or litigation experience
- Financial Lines experience (EPL, D&O, ERISA claims) preferred
- Ability to analyze policies of insurance and legal documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- JD highly preferred
