Receive and assess Request for Quotes, negotiate contracts, and close agreements to maximize profits by preparing accurate and competitive quotations in the Epicor system.
Review part number history, customer buying trends, researching competitor offerings while maximizing the gross margin on every Epicor quotation to close the sale.
Highlighting the value proposition of the company's product offerings to potential clients.
Develop a strong understanding of company products and services to engage with current customers and potential customers on new product potential.
Collaborate with the sales manager to provide details on current orders and your customers’ sales forecast.
Develop a strong understanding of business position and competition to ensure business remains competitive.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
5-7 years of experience in Sales, Business, or relevant field
Technical sales experience within the electronics industry, preferably connector sales
Ability to create proposals and find solutions to meet customer requirements
Proficient in MS Office
Understanding of CRM systems and best practices
Experience meeting monthly sales goals
Experience with connectors or within the industry
