Role Overview
- Applies electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems
- Construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components
- Quality testing
- Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems
- Engage in program efforts to integrate robotics into ship maintenance and repair
- Support Remote Support (shipboard video conferencing), data analytics and Artificial Intelligence, and Video Maintenance Aids for fleet support
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 2 years of relevant exempt experience
- Robotics focus with knowledge of project management and basic programming skills
- Ship design, waterfront and Navy experience desirable
