About this role
Role Overview
- Support the team in administering our servers and clients
- Implement system expansions and adjustments
- Provide 1st
- and partially 2nd-level support for internal customers
- Onboard new colleagues and set up user accounts and end devices
- Assist users with software and hardware usage
- Document support requests in the Jira ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues or systems to the responsible specialist departments
- Document processes, system adjustments and changes in Atlassian Confluence
- Maintain progress updates in the Jira ticketing system
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the IT field, e.g., as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira
- Knowledge in server administration and networking
- Terms such as DNS, Active Directory/LDAP, Wireshark, PowerShell or the OSI model should be familiar to you
- Experience operating MS Windows Servers is an advantage
- Experience in IT support or help desk is an advantage
- Technical affinity and curiosity
- Problem-solving skills and a service-oriented working style
- Driver’s license (class B or former Class 3)
- Willingness to travel for regular regional assignments
- Good German and English language skills
- Strong team and communication skills
