Help keep our team organized and running smoothly by maintaining essential documents and digital files
Act as a key point of contact for tracking all insurance payments and assisting with budget management
Support the claims lead by managing the claims inbox, reviewing incident reports, and reporting new claims
Help manage the yearly renewal of major insurance policies, tracking renewal milestones, and obtaining necessary leadership approvals
Handle requests for official Certificates of Insurance from internal partners
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
Coursework in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Law, Communication, or Business Administration.
1+ years of experience in a corporate environment focused on areas such as corporate insurance, legal, finance, accounting, project or process management, communications, governance, quality assurance, internal audit, or operational risk management
Prior experience working in a corporate insurance department, for an insurance broker, or as a commercial insurance underwriter
Insurance or Risk Management-related certifications or designations; e.g., Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
Participation in the Gamma Iota Sigma insurance and risk management organization.
