About this role
Role Overview
Lead and deliver customer and operational projects across the B&Q transport network, from solution design through to implementation and handover
Establish and maintain robust project governance, controls and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Drive process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies across the operation
Act as a single point of contact for accurate PI / CI reporting, tracking benefits, savings and governance
Work closely with site operations and senior customer stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities and best practice
Support delivery of a significant savings plan while influencing wider logistics cost and working capital performance
Requirements
Experience in a transport operational environment, preferably with project exposure
Proven background delivering projects or change initiatives within logistics or supply chain
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse data and translate insight into action
Confident stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels internally and externally
Strong decision-making, accountability and change management capability
Degree-level qualification (or equivalent); Project Management / PRINCE qualification desirable
