Contribute general insurance advice and consulting services to clients such as insurers, banks, regulators, and third party administrators
Advise on solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring, and risk control
Analyze the impact of new regulation on an insurance company’s balance sheet or revise businesses’ projections and ensure adequate reserves
Provide support in relation to all aspects of general insurance including reserving, pricing, Solvency II, corporate restructuring, liability management, mergers & acquisitions, financial modelling, risk management solutions, audit support, and IFRS 17
Requirements
Strong background either as a recognised general insurance consultant or significant experience in the general insurance industry
Significant experience in general insurance work, including Risk and capital
Good understanding of non life capital models
Exposure to reserving and pricing beneficial within London/Lloyds market or Personal & Commercial lines markets
Experience performing reserve reviews and/or Statements of Actuarial Opinion
Involvement in buy/sell-side due diligence
