Supervise, mentor and support an HR technician and specialized HR advisors (talent acquisition, occupational health and safety, compensation, labour relations).
Support them with problem resolution, coach their interventions and foster their professional development to help them progress.
Monitor team performance and adjust workload distribution, taking into account peak periods in each area of expertise.
Ensure smooth communication across all HR functions.
Identify HR issues related to the organization’s short-, medium
and long-term needs and objectives, and propose strategies and actions to address them.
Participate in the creation and updating of HR tools and policies.
Provide strategic support and advice to managers on performance management, change management, people development and workplace environment.
Lead and oversee the implementation, improvement and monitoring of workplace well-being practices (OHS, group insurance, etc.) as well as programs and processes related to compensation.
Supervise the entire performance management process in collaboration with department managers and provide the necessary support to ensure equitable application.
Analyze trends to enhance the training and skills development offering.
Propose process improvements as needed.
Adopt and promote a transformational management style aimed at strengthening the organization’s ability to adapt to change and increasing employee engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or another relevant field
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant HR experience, including five (5) years in a management role
Fluent in French, both spoken and written
Strong command of the main Microsoft Office tools and software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet) and ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
Mastery of the principles and practices of transformational and engaging leadership
Solid experience in staffing, training and organizational development, as well as good knowledge of compensation, labour relations and occupational health and safety
Ability to analyze HR data to identify trends and assess the effectiveness of practices
