Role Overview
Provide quality review of Forms 3115, 1128, 970
Research, address, and consult on technical issues specific to revenue and expense recognition
Monitor the issuance of guidance by the government and courts
Assist with the development of internal and external thought leadership and continuing professional education courses
Assist with research and drafting of opinions, technical memos, or similar types of guidance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited university
active CPA license in the state of residence or primary office; active Enrolled Agent (EA) license; active attorney license; or a pre ‑ approved alternative certification that meets RSM requirements
Minimum of six years of experience in public accounting
Proven track record of successful tax planning
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proven capacity to meet client service, quality, and performance expectations
Strong communication skills
Effective project management skills
Experience working effectively in a professional office environment
