Accurate and timely preparation of client financial statements and tax returns for individuals, and small to medium businesses
Assisting with lodgement to the ATO within lodgement timeframes
Completion of IAS and BAS returns before the ATO due date
Reconciling and reviewing accounts in a timely manner
Business budgeting and cash flow management
Ad-hoc assistance to the accounting team as required
Requirements
Min 3 to 5 years’ experience in Public Practice in Australian Tax (Income Tax and GST)
Perfect and excellent written and spoken English
Willing to work Australian hours
Knowledge of the Australian Tax System and Legislation
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Advanced knowledge of Gmail / Google Doc, Sheets, Mail, Calendar
Experience with Australian businesses is preferred.
