Own end-to-end payroll processing for Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia, partnering with local payroll providers and leveraging ADP and Woffu to ensure accurate and timely payroll each cycle
Conduct payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and integrity across systems
Manage statutory payroll filings in accordance with local regulations, including UK HMRC, Spain’s Seguridad Social, Ireland’s PRSA, and Australia’s Superannuation requirements
Maintain accurate, audit-ready payroll records, including documentation of processes and controls
Administer employee benefits programs across all regions, including health, pension/retirement, life insurance, and statutory benefits, ensuring compliance with local requirements
Support annual benefits renewals, including coordination with vendors, employee communications, and system updates
Manage relationships with local benefits brokers and vendors, serving as the primary operational contact for enrollments, renewals, and issue resolution
Resolve payroll and benefits inquiries from employees and external partners in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a payroll and benefits perspective, ensuring accurate setup and timely processing
Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end close activities
Collaborate with People Operations, Legal, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll and benefits delivery across all regions
Use AI and automation tools to identify opportunities for improving payroll and benefits processes, increasing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Contribute to payroll system integrations and enhancements (e.g., ADP–Woffu), providing regional expertise and testing support
Support payroll and benefits-related projects, process improvements, and scalability initiatives
Stay current on international payroll and employment legislation changes and proactively communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
2+ years of international payroll and/or benefits administration experience, with direct hands-on experience in at least two of the following countries: Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, or Australia
Working knowledge of statutory payroll and benefits requirements across EMEA and/or APAC markets, with particular depth in Spain given the size of our employee population there
Experience working with payroll platforms such as CloudPay or similar; comfortable navigating multiple systems simultaneously
Solid understanding of global payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience managing payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present payroll data clearly
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with international teams to ensure payroll and benefits accuracy and efficiency
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
