About this role
Role Overview
Hunt new business opportunities in and around Cape Town.
Prospect, develop and close sales of telematics solutions to large, medium and small companies.
Source new sales leads via cold calling and prospecting.
Develop and maintain a solid pipeline of prospects.
Manage sales, training and customer relationships in Cape Town and elsewhere in South Africa if required.
Support software partners in sales appointments where necessary.
Achieve sales goals and report on sales opportunities in a timely manner.
Requirements
Proven Sales record in the vehicle telematics / fleet management industry preferable.
At least 3 years of successful experience in direct sales (B to B), ideally in a BtoB SaaS/IT company.
Excellent listening, analytical, prioritization and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license is required.
Familiarity with Salesforce.com is a plus but can be learned.
Strong cold calling skills.
Ability to manage the entire sales cycle independently.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
