Mortgage Operations Manager

Role Overview

• Manages existing HFA client relationships across assigned accounts
• Responsibilities include monitoring and managing loan delivery pipelines
• Serving as the frontline contact for client issues
• Responding to client questions or problems
• Coordinating internally with pricing, credit, fulfillment, and servicing teams to resolve issues
• When lenders deliver loans, manage and monitor the pipeline of their accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically eight to 10 years of business-related experience and four to five years of managerial experience
• Advanced understanding of all aspects of mortgage lending, servicing or operational policies and practices including experience with HFA lending.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Good organizational and project management skills
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed knowledge of human resources functions
• Effective supervisory and management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
