Lead Team in performing payroll activities by coordinating daily term deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met accurately and on time.
Liaison with Yearend Payroll Manager and Payroll Team to coordinate deliverables and communicate updates.
Support new initiatives by collaborating closely with Team and business partners through the phases of implementation and completion on a timely basis.
Team responsibilities include: Balancing of all year-end tax slips and completion of year-end government filings in compliance with CRA, Revenu Quebec and IRS regulations.
Distribution of T4, RL1, T4A, RL2, NR4, RCA, 1042-S, 1099-R government tax slips and the T2200 and TP64-3 forms.
Requirements
Payroll Compliance Practitioner Designation, (or working on completion) PCP
Strong knowledge of Canadian Federal/Provincial and U.S. regulatory and legislative requirements related to payroll (Canada Revenue Agency/ Revenu Quebec/IRS)
A sound knowledge of Workday, as well as the principals of Resolution Management, and the principals of the Data Integrity Reconciliation
