About this role
Role Overview
Manage designated project scopes and resources to meet overall project goals, budgets, and customer satisfaction requirements
Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
Participate in owner/client meetings and provide regular project updates
Assist in the negotiation and writing of subcontractor and vendor agreements
Review and process change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals accurately and efficiently
Track project financials, including cost reporting, forecasting, and budget maintenance
Execute the procurement strategy for assigned scopes of work
Prepare bid packages, level bids, and assist in awarding subcontracts
Work closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Safety Managers to ensure field operations align with project plans
Ensure all project documentation and closeout materials are accurate, organized, and submitted promptly
Enforce rigorous QA/QC protocols and specific safety requirements unique to mission-critical environments
Closely monitor the procurement, manufacturing, and delivery schedules for long-lead specialized equipment to prevent delays
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management/Science, or equivalent work experience
At least 4 years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry
Ability to travel to execute projects
Mission Critical Data Center project experience preferred
Proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems preferred
Thorough understanding of early turnover dates and mission critical commissioning processes preferred
Experience with critical work Methods of Procedures process preferred
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, P6, and other management tools preferred
