Collaborate with Finance and Investor Relations to translate complex financial data into compelling external narratives, strengthening credibility and valuation
Align communications strategies with regulatory priorities, public policy advocacy, and national initiatives such as healthcare innovation and digital infrastructure
Lead enterprise-wide crisis communications and issues management, ensuring rapid, transparent responses to protect trust and reputation
Establish measurement frameworks linking communications outcomes to business impact, leveraging data and analytics for optimization
Elevate executive visibility and thought leadership across digital and social platforms while cultivating strategic media relationships to showcase TELUS’ leadership in innovation, technology, and sustainability
Optimize global communications structures across TELUS business units, championing AI adoption to enhance productivity and efficiency
Build and inspire a high-performing communications team, fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and engagement while coaching team members to achieve their goals
Requirements
10+ years in senior communications roles within complex corporate environments or top-tier agencies
Bachelor’s degree
Proven ability to lead large-scale transformations and navigate complex matrixed organizations
Advanced storytelling, media relations, crisis management, and reputation management skills across all mediums
Experience leveraging AI and emerging digital tools to drive innovation and productivity
Success in leading communications across diverse geographies and cultures
Inspirational leadership with strong consultative and negotiation skills
Advanced knowledge of English is required
