Design and deliver transportation and freight management solutions at both technical and process levels, covering SAP logistics products such as SAP SD/LE and SAP TM, as well as non‑SAP transportation and freight solutions.
Take end‑to‑end responsibility for project delivery and implementation of logistics systems, including steering development of SAP solutions and interfaces and supporting S/4HANA Cloud transformation initiatives.
Provide functional leadership across project planning, system configuration (customizing), testing and go‑live, ensuring high‑quality delivery through close collaboration with team members, developers, testers, key users and external vendors.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions, and support programme management, product roadmap activities, change management and user adoption.
Stabilize IT products in operations while continuously reviewing, optimising and innovating solutions to improve transportation logistics processes and the related technology landscape.
Requirements
Strong expertise in supply chain IT consulting, with a focus on implementing SAP transportation and freight solutions and integrating non‑SAP transportation systems with SAP.
Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA ERP and strong skills in end‑to‑end integration of transportation management systems.
Excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to guide team members and business partners toward high‑quality, sustainable solutions.
Team‑oriented profile combining business process understanding with IT knowledge, and experience with project management methods and tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and MS Project, including initial exposure to agile ways of working.
Fluent English required; German language skills are a plus. Willingness to travel occasionally to Knauf sites worldwide.
