Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS/software licensing, partnerships, and supplier contracts
Act as a key legal contact for business stakeholders, providing clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice
Take ownership of legal support for designated business areas
Identify and implement improvements to legal processes, workflows, and ways of working
Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidance
Collaborate with a multi-jurisdictional legal team
Manage external counsel and support disputes where required
Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments in the gaming and technology sectors
Support strategic business initiatives, including new product development
Requirements
4-6 years PQE (post qualification experience) as a solicitor, advocate or equivalent required – this is a guideline so if you feel that you are suitable, please still apply
Strong grounding in commercial and contract law
Experience in the gaming industry/software development industry is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage priorities
Experience improving legal processes, templates, or ways of working is highly desirable
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to provide practical, business-focused advice in a clear and concise manner
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively across different jurisdictions and cultures
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and interest in the gaming/technology space
Experience working with legal technology tools (e.g. CLM systems, document automation) is advantageous
Interest in leveraging AI and legal technology to improve legal service delivery and efficiency is desirable.
