Role Overview
- Analyze and validate tax documents
- Calculate and remit taxes in a timely manner
- Prepare and submit ancillary tax obligations and statutory filings
- Provide information to internal and external clients
- Perform the company’s tax reviews
- Responsible for posting incoming transactions and entries in the company’s books
- Prepare and transmit ancillary tax obligations and filings
- Responsible for the period-end tax close
- Liaise with tax authorities and respond to audits
- Provide support to internal and external clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Sciences Contábeis) with active CRC registration
- Basic knowledge of tax legislation and tax planning
- English: Intermediate — considered a plus
- Spanish: Intermediate — considered a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP is a plus
- Proven minimum 2 years’ experience in the tax/fiscal area; experience in manufacturing is a plus
