Provides investigational pharmaceutical care services by evaluating, implementing, and maintaining research drug protocols
Ensures drug-related studies are conducted in compliance with established protocols, institutional policy and procedures, and state and federal regulations
Facilitates and manages investigational drug procurement, storage, distribution, destruction, inventory, and record keeping of pharmaceutical research
Collaborates with members of the research team, assumes education responsibilities, provides accurate and efficient dispensing of medication
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a pharmacist
Prior experience as a hospital pharmacist
Prior experience as an investigational drug or oncology pharmacist
Previous experience with sterile and hazardous drug compounding
Graduation from an accredited pharmacy school (Bachelor of Science or Pharm.D.)
