About this role
Role Overview
Sales of life sciences research consumables and instruments to the academic market
Maintain and develop customer relationships (procurement and scientists) on short and long term
Achieve sales targets set, both quarterly and annually
Go for all existing and develop new sales opportunities within the territory to meet or achieve plan
Focus on the strategic development of key accounts by implementing and updating account planning (cross-functions)
Requirements
M.A./ M.Sc or equivalent experience, preferred bachelor's degree in biology/life science field
Experience in sales in the Life Sciences Market
General knowledge of assigned product portfolio and customer segment required
Analytical and business planning skills
Distinct time management
Strong capabilities to interface successfully with all customer types, face to face and virtually/via phone
Ability to successfully contribute to dedicated team
Demonstrates a positive demeanor and desire to succeed
Strong self-motivation to find new business
Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to evolving business environment
Digital literacy in MS Office package required
Valid driving license
Proficiency in English and German, both written and verbal, additional languages are an advantage
