Role Overview
Respond efficiently and promptly to customer requests, clarify customers' business challenges, and provide technical assessments throughout the entire sales cycle.
Build relationships at multiple levels across customer organisations, establishing strong technical credibility with accounts.
Prepare and deliver engaging, compelling, and focused technical demonstrations.
Demonstrate sufficient technical and business knowledge to present a strong value proposition to customers.
Understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and contribute to the development of effective strategies to address opportunities and overcome obstacles.
Participate in global meetings to share best practices and occasionally assist with technical training.
Actively collaborate in the maintenance and evolution of demonstration systems and share innovative technical developments with peers.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in any life science-related field, or four additional years of equivalent proven experience.
Fluency in English & Spanish
additional language skills are highly desirable.
2+ years’ technical sales experience, preferably in Laboratory Software Solutions, such as LIMS, ELN, or SDMS, working with industries such as life science, pharmaceutical, biotech, environmental, food & beverage, and/or chemicals.
Experience and knowledge of enterprise scientific software demonstrations.
Familiarity with commercial operations in complex sales cycles.
