Deliver high-quality service work across low to medium complexity projects
Plan and execute work with a strong “first-time right” focus
Build trusted customer relationships and respond with urgency, professionalism and ownership
Provide remote technical support to customers during stand by time
Work with the customer to identify opportunities to improve their operations and eliminate pain points
Perform field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity
Assist in preparing material lists needed for service activity
Ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are of appropriate quality for service activities
Prepare work packs including risk assessments and method statements
Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and make recommendations to avoid issues in the future
Requirements
Highly skilled in electrical / mechanical engineering solutions
Experience in field services
ABB product experience is desirable
Willing to work in demanding environments, both in the UK and internationally, on and offshore
Relevant tertiary qualification in electrical engineering and/or have a demonstrated professional track record
Ability to demonstrate an ability to be flexible with schedules and be self-sufficient in the field
Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people, both work colleagues and from the customer side
Demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
Hold current driving license valid in the UK
