Create and maintain system specification or System Content Definitions (SCD)
Derive system functions and requirements from feature, vehicle, and legal requirements
Collaborate with system integration engineer and component owners to align on requirements, feasibility and implementation plan
Define, maintain and align interface requirements with other systems
Contribute to the system vision by supporting function decomposition, function cuts, and holistic system views
Create traceability from customer requests and use cases through feature based functionality to functions in the system specification
Align test specifications with system requirements and ensure traceability
Support a structured and proactive requirements change process by maintaining traceability, resolving ambiguity, closing open actions and ensuring stakeholder alignment
Participate in early verification planning to identify risks for new and unproven designs to ensure alignment with established requirements
Apply system engineering lifecycle knowledge to prioritize work and deliver high value activities on time
Ensure SCD content meets Systems Engineering milestones, quality standards, and reuse goals
Lead function and requirement reviews and alignment with stakeholders (Component Owners, Architecture, Safety, Cyber, Test, Quality, etc.)
Develop system design solutions that satisfy the system requirements and fulfills functional analysis
Model the functional architecture, decide ECU (Electric/Electronic Component) and define signals
Generate alternative system concepts, architecture and design solutions
Implement comprehensive system architecture solutions
