Role Overview
Facilitate onboarding and capability development for new and existing paraplanners.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of paraplanning cases, providing feedback and monitoring of quality outcomes.
Manage clear accountabilities and stretching work objectives across the team, recognising successes and following processes to manage performance.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for product and process knowledge, supporting colleagues in resolving complex queries.
Conduct quality analysis and research to arrive at the most suitable outcome for the client.
Undertake whole of market research on new and existing clients using FE Analytics, Cashflow modelling and in-house research tools.
Engage with stakeholders across the business to deliver a great experience for our teams, our Partners and our Clients, managing conflict and using influencing skills where required.
Strong people management for the paraplanning team, with accountability for influencing performance and delivering structured development to improve team and individual capability.
Keep up to date with the latest industry knowledge in order to support advisers and communicate this effectively with the team.
Requirements
Relevant professional qualification (CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or suitable alternative at Level 4 or above) is essential for the role.
Previous Paraplanning or Advice experience essential.
Detailed knowledge of assessing suitability of complex advice outcomes.
Detailed knowledge of Pension and Investment products is essential to the role.
Working knowledge of Risk, Compliance and Advice in UK financial services.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels.
Excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships.
Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills to be able to work to multiple competing deadlines.
A good knowledge of private wealth products.
