Role Overview
- Ensure the integrity of the corporate enterprise master patient index (MPI)
- Oversee day-to-day workflow and operations
- Analyze current standards and regulations
- Develop data collection tools
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching
- Collect and maintain monthly MPI statistical data
- Develop policies and procedures for MPI functions
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology or a related field or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of directly related experience
- 5 years healthcare or acute care hospital experience
- 5 years Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- 3 years HIM management experience
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, data-oriented, process-oriented
