About this role
Role Overview
Support and scientific advising of specialist physicians in hospitals and office-based practices, with scientific expertise and a particular focus on COPD.
Analysis and evaluation of available market data, including conducting market and potential analyses to identify opportunities and development prospects within the assigned territory.
Consistent implementation of the corporate strategy through the development of tailored measures such as continuing education and training concepts — aligned to the individual needs of each target group.
Preparation of account plans taking available budgets into account and working closely with Medical, Marketing and Therapy Area Specialists in other regions.
Implementation of account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all internal and external guidelines and applicable codes.
Close cooperation with First Line Sales Managers, Medical Science Liaison Managers and the marketing team to gather robust stakeholder insights and optimize alignment of marketing, sales and medical activities.
Development and implementation of innovative training concepts that respond to the current needs of customers.
Participation in congresses, sponsorships and events to maintain existing customer relationships and for personal professional development.
Requirements
A completed degree in business administration or a natural science — alternatively a qualification as a certified pharmaceutical representative.
Several years of experience supporting specialist physicians in hospitals and office-based settings as a field representative, and experience in respiratory therapy areas or other specialty care areas such as rheumatology.
Deep understanding of products, markets and customer needs.
Experience in account management and strategic customer development.
Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and a high degree of flexibility and initiative.
Willingness to travel and very good MS Office skills.
Business-fluent German and good English skills.
