Lead strategic sales initiatives to drive growth for Managed Transportation and Dedicated Transportation business unit.
Utilize experience to expand the business into multiple geographies and industries while evaluating and implementing sales initiatives to improve win rates.
Partner with the Vice President for Solutions & Strategy to execute the annual sales plan including establishment of sales objectives.
Build a pipeline and obtain sales growth goals, working to meet expectations of $10MM in gross revenue and $1.5M in EBITDA.
Successfully manage customer needs to meet objectives of the company's overall business plans.
Identify and develop new customers for Dedicated & Managed Solution Transportation products and services.
Analyze/evaluate the effectiveness of current sales methods, costs, and results.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
7 years sales experience in the asset based Dedicated Transportation & Managed Solutions Selling
Experience with Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Availability to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends; travel 75% of the time.
Experience meeting and exceeding sales goals
Strong ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally.
