Screen products for compliance across global ecommerce marketplaces—reviewing labels, formulations, claims, and certifications against requirements for each target market
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of international regulatory requirements spanning global markets (Americas, EU, MENA, APAC), ecommerce platforms, fulfillment models, and high-risk product categories
Oversee compliance projects by vetting and managing 3rd-party regulatory agencies, coordinating with brands and internal teams, and holding partners accountable to timelines and quality standards
Manage company licensing for Pattern's Canadian warehouse, including site licenses, MDELs, and QA processes for imported products
Develop and own regulatory compliance SOPs, train cross-functional teams and brands, and assess risk to inform business expansion decisions across new markets and platforms
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years' minimum regulatory compliance experience in a high-risk product category covering US and international requirements
Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and apply global regulations; proven research, risk assessment, and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong judgment and a commitment to ethics
Preferred: experience with dietary supplements/VMS, cosmetics, OTC drugs, or children's products in EU, UK, CA, CN, or AU markets
Preferred: experience submitting product registrations or applications to regulatory bodies (FDA, Health Canada, EPA, CPSC, etc.)
