Role Overview
Manage the activities of a subset of the DI Credit Execution Team responsible for pre-closing and post-closing tasks associated with facilitating corporate credit processing.
Assist in managing the allocation of resources to support credit onboarding activities.
Aid in making decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of the DI Credit Execution team.
Partner with loan closing/funding operations and servicing team to develop strong working relationships and resolve booking issues.
Collaborate and consult with CIBLO peers and multiple level managers.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and Wells Fargo rules, policies, and regulations.
Collaborate extensively with Portfolio Management, Delivery Consultants, Control, Compliance, and Risk teams.
Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised procedures, policies, controls and guidelines.
Support the management of various reports, remediation efforts and other ancillary projects as needs arise.
Manage and develop a team of individual contributor roles.
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Requirements
5+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of leadership experience
Knowledge of and experience in Credit, Counterparty, Treasury Management, and Trade products.
Sound understanding of documentation and corporate loan structures, specifically with outside counsel prepared credit documents.
Strong knowledge/experience in compliance, regulations, credit policy & processes and risk policy.
Knowledge of syndications, including agented and member deals.
Knowledge of nCino, Loan IQ, CoRS, TRE, ICMP and PowerBI systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong creative problem-solving skills and capacity to evaluate situations from a broader perspective.
Team player, willing to fill in on various initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to work with all levels of management and have presence to interact with senior leaders.
Strong organizational skills with focus on tactical implementation.
