Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing and correcting payroll transactions for specific countries.
Support pre-payroll activities time and absence processes.
Review and verify files for monthly payroll run.
Enforce key payroll deadlines.
Answer employee/manager/HR queries and manage year-end payroll activities.
Partner with internal stakeholders and Payroll Vendor to resolve payroll errors.
Lead pre-payroll activities and handle input errors.
Manage Year-End Payroll processing activities.
Respond to internal stakeholders regarding payroll data and reports.
Lead global, regional, and country-specific projects.

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Finance / Accounting.
min. 5 years of payroll operational experience in Belgian payroll.
Working knowledge of Belgian payroll, time and absence, profit sharing general rules.
Working knowledge of Workday and experience integrating with 3rd party applications.
Strong customer orientation and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
Strong written and oral communication skills, in English.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Good analytical and process diagnostic skills.
