Group Head, Client Service

Role Overview

• You lead and mentor a team of Consultants and Junior Consultants — you develop them and keep them motivated.
• You are responsible for the development of strategy and the conceptualization of communications activities for a prominent key account.
• You develop media strategies together with your colleagues in consulting and the specialist teams and ensure smooth integration of all disciplines.
• You are the client's point of contact for all matters related to media strategy, provide a 360-degree media recommendation and ensure implementation of the agreed scope of services.
• You work independently and closely with the client as well as with the associated agencies.
• You continuously monitor the client's needs and identify which products from our portfolio could be useful to the client, pitching these as appropriate.
• You actively participate in new business pitches.

Requirements

• You have at least 4 years of professional experience in media consulting/account management on the agency side.
• Over the years you have built comprehensive media, marketing and communications know‑how across all channels.
• You are highly experienced in developing media strategies.
• You have initial leadership experience.
• Your knowledge of research and analysis tools is solid, and you translate the resulting insights into actionable recommendations.
• You can work proactively under pressure and tight deadlines and ensure high client satisfaction.
• You are a communications professional with extensive presentation experience.
• You can communicate confidently with clients in both English and German.
