Serve as the accessibility authority, guiding and overseeing the work of 508 analysts, testers, and accessibility resources across the team.
Assign, review, and validate accessibility testing tasks to ensure consistent application of Section 508 and WCAG standards.
Conduct comprehensive accessibility evaluations of websites, applications, documents, and multimedia content.
Perform manual testing using assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, ZoomText, and keyboard‑only navigation.
Execute automated testing using tools such as Axe, WAVE, ANDI, ARC Toolkit, and Siteimprove.
Develop, update, and validate VPATs/ACRs and ensure accuracy across team deliverables.
Lead remediation planning by providing detailed, actionable guidance to developers, UX designers, content authors, and product teams.
Review procurement packages for accessibility requirements and ensure vendor deliverables meet compliance standards.
Create and maintain accessibility policies, standards, checklists, and governance frameworks.
Deliver accessibility training, workshops, and coaching sessions for technical and non‑technical staff.
Support user testing with people with disabilities to validate real‑world accessibility.
Track and report accessibility metrics, findings, and compliance status to leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in cyber security operations, risk assessment, vulnerability management, or information security compliance.
5+ years of experience in Section 508 compliance, accessibility testing, or digital accessibility consulting.
Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring accessibility/508 resources.
Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, Revised Section 508, Trusted Tester processes, and accessibility testing methodologies.
Proficiency with assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools.
Experience developing VPATs/ACRs and accessibility remediation plans.
Strong understanding of federal accessibility requirements, EIT procurement, and compliance workflows.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST SP 800 53 and RMF.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate accessibility findings into clear, actionable guidance.
Expert level attention to detail and analytical rigor

Ability to lead and mentor accessibility professionals
Clear, confident communication with technical and non technical audiences
Ability to drive accessibility initiatives across large, complex organizations
