Commercial Appraisal Analyst

Role Overview

• Perform simple to complex reviews of commercial property evaluations, validations, and appraisals
• Ensure that the Bank's policies and procedures, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines are strictly complied with
• Perform the procurement and ordering process
• Assist with regulatory exams and internal audits
• Assist bank employees and appraisers with appraisal related inquiries and issues
• Assist in the training of bank employees and appraisal team members on appraisal related material and systems
• Maintain contact with various departments to monitor the pipeline of appraisals
• Oversee appraisal requests and ensure fee quotes are reasonable
• Aid other employees through healthy and positive interactions
• Continuously update skills by participating in professional training
• Seek opportunities to improve skills through cross-training offered by the Bank

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University preferred, or equivalent prior work experience
• Minimum 5 years in an appraisal or appraisal review related field
• Strong commercial/residential appraisal experience/knowledge required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
• Knowledge of USPAP, FIRREA, OCC, HVCC and FNMA /FHLMC guidelines and regulations
• State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser preferred, but not required.
