Role Overview
- Follow internal compliance and HSE standards to ensure a safe working environment
- Develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Directional Drilling Systems
- Provide complex solutions in challenging Directional System environments
- Solve often complex drilling problems, by monitoring, analysing and evaluating incidents using logging and drilling data
- Develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of Measuring while Drilling services at the well site
- Work in difficult drilling and MWD environments to provide complex solutions to the Customer
- Make basic maintenance on various types of field equipment and to determine the equipment's current operational status at the well site
Requirements
- Have rig drilling or directional drilling experience gained in an oil and gas environment
- Be fluent in oral and written English
- Have a technical degree or a High School Diploma /GED with equivalent work experience
- Have prior experience in directional drilling or equivalent
- Have experience in Measurement while drilling activities (preferred)
- Be able to relate to well site personnel at all levels, be a dedicated team member
