You steer the umbrella brand strategy (positioning, architecture, tone of voice, and visual identity) — optimized for the German core market and scalable for international expansion
You are responsible for bold brand experiences and athlete events that act as cultural statements, generate global attention, and build long-term community engagement
You take end-to-end responsibility (from concept to quality standards) for the creative presentation at major commercial occasions, product launches, and relevant community experiences
You create a strategic architecture and guiding principles that enable international teams to adapt the brand to be locally relevant while remaining globally consistent
You implement a distinctive visual design language for packaging, digital, retail, and content through practical guidelines and templates
You serve as the central brand authority for all internal stakeholders (D2C, Commercial, International) and lead and brief global creative and brand agencies
Requirements
You bring more than 12 years of leadership experience in brand management and have extensive senior-level experience at a culture and lifestyle brand (e.g., at the level of Nike, Adidas, Red Bull, Gymshark), and ideally additional agency experience as a strategic consultant or Creative Director
You can develop brand positioning and architectures from the ground up and think in years, not quarters
You set excellent standards, brief agencies to that level, and make bold creative decisions even without consensus
You are deeply embedded in the sport and performance community, know exactly what feels authentic, and instinctively identify moments with genuine brand-shaping power
You consistently take ideas through to execution and commercial impact — strategy and real-world results are inseparable for you
You operate confidently with lean resources, high ambitions, and ROI pressure
You thrive in a dynamic, PE-backed environment and speak fluent English; German language skills are an advantage.
