Take end-to-end ownership of AI-based detection applications, covering everything from system architecture and data preparation to deployment in production environments
Design, implement, and optimize real-time software components for high-performance machine vision applications
Ensure the robustness and reliability of AI systems through thorough testing and validation, meeting industrial-grade quality and safety standards
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including system architecture, mechatronics, software, and controls
Drive the continuous improvement of internal AI frameworks while integrating state-of-the-art open-source solutions and academic research
Contribute to the evolution of intelligent control algorithms used in automated logistics and parcel handling systems
Support the scalability and maintainability of AI solutions across global customer projects

You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Ideally you have a PhD (completed or ongoing) or 5+ years of professional experience in Deep Learning and Machine Vision
Strong expertise in image segmentation, object detection, and image classification
Proficiency with Python and C++, including experience in scalable training on local and/or cloud infrastructures
Knowledge in Reinforcement Learning, Robotics, Generative AI, or Explainable AI (considered a plus)
You have a strong passion for applying AI to real-world industrial and logistics challenges
Strong communication skills, working in an international, cross-functional environment
Structured, results-oriented, and proactive approach to work, combined with a hands-on mindset.
You are fluent in English.
