Responsible for participating in a goal-driven, team-oriented, high-performance department
Provide both technical and leadership support to internal business partners
Develop short and long-term supply plans using complex computer-based modeling software
Responsible for weekend/holiday coverage to provide recommendations for supply and demand imbalances
Provides accurate daily system forecasts
Performs in-depth analyses to evaluate NiSource’s portfolio of supply and capacity options
Oversees performance and adequacy for the functionality of software systems, IT applications and data warehouses
Requirements
BS/BA in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
Must be self-directed, have strong leadership skills
Proven presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills
Possess an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 (particularly Microsoft Excel
pivot tables, macro creation, and statistical analysis)
Master of Business Administration, Business Analytics, Accountancy, or equivalent business/data analytics graduate degree preferred
Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the utility industry specific to electric/natural gas markets, demand response, trading, and state/federal regulations
Experience with process improvement, Six Sigma, and/or project management.
