About this role
Role Overview
Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Develop targeted market penetration strategies.
Maintain a pipeline of opportunities aligned with growth objectives.
Actively participate in acquiring new projects and addressing emerging needs.
Build strong relationships with engineering firms, consultants, EPCs, contractors and end customers.
Influence technical specifications upstream of tenders.
Position the company as a preferred partner on long-term projects.
Monitor major industrial projects and upcoming tenders.
Track opportunities in the CRM from identification through to closing.
Participate in the preparation of commercial proposals.
Monitor KPIs related to business development and sales.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and conferences.
Expand the network of contacts within the industrial ecosystem and the Swagelok environment.
Organize and deliver technical presentations and lunch & learn sessions.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development within an industrial or technical environment
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering (or other related fields)
Strong understanding of industrial projects and complex sales cycles
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and think strategically
Proficiency with a CRM and sales tracking tools
Bilingual in French and English.
