About this role
Role Overview
Acts as primary point of contact for identified prospective customers
Builds strong, collaborative relationships
Effectively deploys all aspects of the Axalta Sales Process to achieve annual and quarterly sales growth objectives
Understands and crafts key elements of the business agreement with each prospective customer
Develops account plans capturing the products, color and services needs of the customer
Understands and accurately communicates the values and benefits of Axalta products, color, and services
Leverages all the appropriate resources to showcase the Axalta Value Proposition
Exhibits a high level of detail in pipeline planning, prospect engagement, and progression of the sales process
Maintains a highly professional, organized, and effective communication approach and clearly documents customer interactions in SalesForce (SFDC)
Effectively prioritizes tasks and contributes to the team’s expected results for sales growth and profitability
Leads paint conversion efforts and solicits distribution resources to support the customer
Maintains accurate account information and contact data in SalesForce (SFDC)
Utilizes appropriate technological resources (SharePoint, Salesforce, MSOffice) to further individual productivity
Follows-up on issues in a timely manner and identifies process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 10 + years of direct selling experience
Experience in the refinish industry highly preferred
Knowledge of the collision repair, commercial transportation, and industrial business environment as well as distribution fundamentals
Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills
Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
Technically competent with various software programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Experience with ServiceNow and SFDC a plus
Background in process improvement / Continuous improvement methodologies a plus
