Account Executive

Role Overview

• Own and develop a portfolio of surety clients
• Drive new business and retention
• Provide senior technical guidance on bond placement
• Lead placement, renewal and negotiation of contract bonds
• Develop and execute a surety growth plan
• Originate new client relationships through targeted prospecting
• Ensure robust governance and compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams for accurate invoicing and high client satisfaction
• Coach and support colleagues through mentoring and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Significant experience in surety (contract and/or commercial)
• Strong commercial judgement
• Demonstrated capability in financial analysis and underwriting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• A proactive, results-driven approach
• CIP insurance qualification
• Track record of developing and executing business plans
