Retail Sales Associate

Role Overview

• Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services required
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
• Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels
• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities for accessories
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards
• Adapt communication style to deliver information effectively
• Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity
• Attempt to calm irate customers and resolve issues
• Take orders from customers and prepare products for purchase
• Ensure customer satisfaction with issue resolution process
• Assist with merchandise display and inventory management
• Ensure accuracy in transactions and procedures
• Participate in store maintenance

Requirements

• Must provide a copy of completed Cannabis Retail Certification
• CannSell License
• Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date
• Minimum 2-3 years of Retail Experience in sales and customer service required
• A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
• Must have knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player mentality
• Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations.
